Immediate opening: we are hiring a material handler in Blackburn with Darwen, England. You should have: • Good numeracy for stock counts and order checking • Basic English for reading labels and instructions • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends The role involves: • Put away stock into racking locations following FIFO • Scan barcodes to update stock levels on the WMS • Weigh and measure parcels for courier collection • Pick orders from racking using a handheld scanner and pick list • Check incoming deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders • Carry out cycle counts and full stock takes Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
