System formwork carpenter • Travis County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Travis County, Texas. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Your main tasks: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
