Construction helper — Alachua County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a construction helper in Alachua County, Florida. You will be based on a commercial building project. What we are looking for: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions On the job you will handle: • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
