Cabinet maker — Tioga County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Tioga County, New York. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
