Stitching operator — Jackson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Jackson County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
