Argon welding operator — Abadam

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Abadam, Borno State. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. ₦195,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
