Sausage maker — Madison County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sausage maker in Madison County, Nebraska. The job is in a meat processing plant. On a typical shift you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler 6+ years on the tools preferred.
