Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Ohimini, Benue State. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage ₦215,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
