Carpenter — Madison County

Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in Madison County, Alabama. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. Day to day you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions. You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Overtime paid at a premium rate.
