The role involves: • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
