Now hiring: we are hiring a road roller operator in Edwards County, Illinois. You will work on an earthmoving and excavation site. On the job you will handle: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Performance bonus on top of base pay.
