Backhoe loader operator • Hamlin County, South Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Hamlin County, South Dakota. You will be based at a plant hire yard. You should have: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
