Solid plasterer wanted in Chippewa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Chippewa County, Minnesota. The job is in a refurbishment property. Day to day you will tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
