Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
