Offshore rigger • Franklin County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Franklin County, Ohio. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
