Tile setter — Racine County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile setter in Racine County, Wisconsin. You will work in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. Requirements: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter The role involves mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
