Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Halifax County, Virginia. The job is at a busy press shop. Day to day you will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
