Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Appomattox County, Virginia. You will work at an automotive components factory. The role involves set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to grind and set HSS cutters 4+ years on the tools preferred. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
