Solid plasterer wanted in Madison County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Madison County, New York. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day On the job you will handle: • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
