Elevator repair technician — Hendricks County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Hendricks County, Indiana. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. You will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 4+ years on the tools preferred. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
