Foundry labourer wanted in San Miguel County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in San Miguel County, New Mexico. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On a typical shift you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities.
