Trainee butcher — Warren County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Warren County, Missouri. You will work in a meat processing plant. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths The role involves: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
