Rebar foreman — Brighton and Hove

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Brighton and Hove, England. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. Your main tasks: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
