Single needle operator — Markurdi

Join our team: we are hiring a single needle operator in Markurdi, Benue State. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer ₦8,500 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
