Mason's helper • Lucas County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mason's helper in Lucas County, Ohio. You will work on a residential housing site. On a typical shift you will bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Six days a week, one day off.
