Blocklayer — Franklin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Franklin County, North Carolina. You will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Part-time with flexible hours.
