Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in York County, Maine. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Rotating shifts.
