Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Adams County, Wisconsin. The job is at a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
