Foundry labourer — Faulk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Faulk County, South Dakota. The role involves melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
