Catering cook — Spencer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a catering cook in Spencer County, Kentucky. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. On a typical shift you will knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; prepare the mise en place before each service. What we are looking for: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen 3+ years on the tools preferred.
