Sample machinist — Kidder County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Kidder County, North Dakota. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Day-to-day duties: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
