Furnace operator • Morris County, New Jersey

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Morris County, New Jersey. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
