Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
