Elevator technician — Bullock County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Bullock County, Alabama. You will work on a lift modernisation project. You will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
