Structural MIG welder — Walker County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Walker County, Alabama. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
