Urgent requirement: carpenter (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in Borough of Halton, England. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Your main tasks: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
