Bulldozer operator — Garrard County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Garrard County, Kentucky. You will be based at an open-cast mine. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day to day you will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction.
