Stitching operator — Real County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Real County, Texas. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
