Press operator — Putnam County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Putnam County, Missouri. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; record output and downtime on the production sheet; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation.
