Vacancy available: pipe lagger (Indiana)

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Clay County, Indiana. You will work on flat roofs and terraces. On a typical shift you will measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks. What we are looking for: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
