Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in City of Kingston upon Hull, England. Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching £2,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
