Site carpenter — Delaware County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings On the job you will handle: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
