Argon arc welder — Dixie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Dixie County, Florida. On the job you will handle: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Part-time with flexible hours. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
