You should have: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale On a typical shift you will sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
