Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Boyle County, Kentucky. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
