Sewing machine operator — Lokoja

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Lokoja, Kogi State. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Part-time with flexible hours.
