Insulation installer — Sutter County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an insulation installer in Sutter County, California. The job is on a construction site. Your main tasks: • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding You should have: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
