Immediate opening: lathe operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Bosque County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills On the job you will handle: • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
