Ironing operator — Funtua

Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Funtua, Katsina State. On a typical shift you will give each garment a final press before packing; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Six days a week, one day off.
