Trowel-trade bricklayer — Anderson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Anderson County, Tennessee. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
